I entered the Young Creative awards Nottingham 2024 and won the Visual arts category (19-24 year olds) with my entry of the Greek tapestry I created.
This was the last year I could enter the awards as I turned 24 this year but it felt like something I had to do as my win in 2017 with the YCA was the catalyst for my creative career journey and gave me so many wonderful opportunities that propelled me to create. The Young creative awards are truly a feather in Nottingham's creative cap and I hope to see lots of new young creatives go on to achieve amazing things and make Nottingham proud.
