2022-2023
During my second year at Nottingham Trent university I completed the "RESPONSE" placement with Nottingham contemporary working alongside a team of students from various degree subjects to create a publication in response  to the exhibit that was on show at the time.
Together we put together a publication and launch event inspired by the exhibition "HOLLOW EARTH" taking the elements of the exhibition we found inspiring and creating an original zine full with images, exercises, poems and text. We met weekly to brainstorm and collaborate and eventually launched the zine at a launch event planned and set up by our team at Nottingham contemporary Blend cafe.

During this time I worked as part of the team both as a collective and as an individual even teaming up with other members of the group to collaborate on material. I helped with the planning of the event also and the set up. As part of the image team I produced images for the publication and a worked alongside other members to produce a contents page in the form of a map, projection using the art of the other image team members and creating an installation cave wall to act as a photo backdrop during the launch event.
The theme of the publication looked at caves and the modern versus past and we even delved into the theme of mental health and the history of humans leaving their mark.

Images I created to accompany the text within the publication as part of a fictional diary entry about being stuck within a cave.
